Many people don't know this about me, but I am a pancake MONSTER. In fact, I once threw down 12 pancakes in one sitting. (Just for the record, I highly do not recommend doing that - I felt like absolute ASS afterwards.) I also have a recipe for legit buttermilk pancakes that would absolutely knock your socks off - but those are definitely not good for you and are reserved for cheat meals only.

On the flip-side, today's recipe IS good for you. These pancakes contain nothing that will set you back and is made with only 3 key ingredients - all of which are real, whole foods - no flour, dairy, sugar or anything that will veer you off course. Therefore, you could eat these and still be staying 100% on your diet. It is worth noting too, that you don't really need syrup. Can you use syrup? Sure, but then you are adding a highly sugar-dense component to the meal - so use it sparingly. However, with the banana and especially if you add berries, you don't really need syrup. Try them without it first and see how you like it.
Another thing that is great about these pancakes is they are very filling - so you don't have to worry about being tempted to eat 12 of them (at least that's a bonus for me) - so start with 1 serving and see how you feel afterwards before making more. Keep in mind these are not typically a meal by themselves. In this video I had some scrambled eggs before hand (1 whole egg and 3 egg whites). This got me my main protein source for the meal and the pancakes provided the carbs.
LIMITED EDITION PANACKES - THE RECIPE (1 serving)
Must Have Ingredients:
1/3 Cup Oats
1 banana
1 whole egg
Optional Ingredients:
Splash of vanilla extract
Cinnamon (or any other spice of your choosing for taste).
Blueberries (if you want blueberry pancakes)
